Anthony J. Durkin

My research program focuses on development and application of quantitative, in-vivo optical spectroscopy and imaging techniques that can be used to non-invasively access functional and structural information in superficial tissue volumes.  The emphasis of my research is on the development of quantitative near infrared spectroscopy and Spatial Frequency Domain (SFD) imaging (also referred to as Modulated Imaging: MI) and application of these approaches to clinically compelling problems.
